I finally watched the two-parter.
I think I’ve said it before, but I’m not really a fan of the idea of the changelings being reformed, I did like the idea of Thorax being an anomaly, though. But well, Chrysalis is still out there plotting revenge.
On the other hand, I’m pleasantly surprised how it was Starlight, along with Trixie, Discord and Thorax the ones that saved the day. Trixie and Discord’s banter was one of my favorite things out of it.
To be honest, I’ve been liking Starlight more during this season. Along with Fluttershy’s being a bit more assertive.

I loved that episode.
I’m now watching the latest one with Applejack and Big McIntosh before moving on with the two-parter with Starlight, and so far, I’m loving it. Young Big Mac being talkative and being as quite goody-two-shoes as Applejack in his own way, though when I saw the thumbnail in the video, I was worried Mac’s reason for being mostly silent was an accident, since it was showing the operation’s room scene lol
Now about Spoiled Milk, It seems it’s just another case like Coco Pommel about the names, though it fits her attitude, it was still nice and interesting how supporive of Filthy Rich is and even asked how was Granny Smith’s health.

And judging by the look of his home, I’d say he came from semi-poverty.Meanwhile Vapor Trail appears to be well off. With pegasi parents that wanted her to study instead of flying.And Rainbow Snore is back! XDTon of cute and unique designs this episode. I especially liked Angel Wings.||

Same here. Work had me busy lately. I just saw what it’s probably the teasers with Chrysallis or something? I better catch up.
Man, I am really out of the loop these days: I’ve spent most of my free time writing and roleplaying with a friend of mine, while the rest of my time’s been spent doing schoolwork. The last episode I watched was The Times Are A Changeling and I haven’t had the time to catch up with all the episodes I missed, either.

Basically, yeah. this seems to be an original look. Considering Thorax spend a while in the empire hiding he probably had to take some notes in designs to that he could pass for one of them.
What I noticed is that according to this pony look, Thorax doesn’t seem to be an adult, but more of the equivalent of a teen changeling, older than the CMC, at least.
Now I’m wondering…Is this Thorax’s original pony look? Or is it supposed to be a copy of another crystal pony?
No other pony with this design has been spotted. Are changelings able to change into whatever they imagine?

No stopping except maybe Jump or from Kubo himself. There have been rumors about Kubo not being in good relations with the editorial department from some years. Plus the japanese reactions so far are not very nice either, and these are from the ones that saw the spoilers, since this last chapter isn’t even out in Japan yet until a couple days.
Who knows if this will ever get a kanzenban edition release in the future, but if this is going to ever get any kind of “fixing”, it would probably be through a databook.

Too bad he went with Orihime and she went with Renji, I mean, yeah, We didn’t even have a confession or something and bam! they are married (at least in Ichigo’s case, Rukia’s seems confusing as she still keeps her maiden name) and having children just like that?. Well, not exactly to “vent”, since I’m not raging or even mad, I’m actually a bit numb about it, but the ending of Bleach…was awful.
The story was left with some many holes and unanswered things, I would even say that Kubo just simply got fed up and said “fuck it”.

To me, The earlier seasons felt a bit more like My Little Pony Adventures.
The later seasons feel more like My Little Pony Tales with more wacky stuff and no school shenanigans.
I admit I’ve truly enjoyed a few episodes this season, though. I liked this one. “Cooooooooooooooooooookieeeeeeeeeeeessssss”

Remember the Journal of The Two Sisters? well, the reason so many people disregard what Josh Haber wrote in The Crystalling about Flurry Heart being “the first born alicorn” (which by the way can still be “fixed” by explaining she’s the first born alicorn in Equestria), is because it somewhat contradicts the journal, which implies Celestia and Luna were born alicorns and that they come from some sort of land/realm of alicorns. Well, the movie beta script seemed to follow that, and that the main antagonist was in fact one of those alicorns coming from that place.

Pascal is someone that works at Sony. No idea in which division or department, though.
Amy Pascal actually has issues in more than one way, if that mail that got leaked was veridical. It’s like she was drunk when she wrote it or something. She also suggested doing something like The Smurfs movies with actual actors and all that jazz. Complete nonsense. Hasbro did good in getting the fuck outta there.
However, there’s one thing that she said that sounds somewhat reasonable, is that this movie seems waaay too much directed towards the show audience, in the sense that, it’s going to be confusing for the people that don’t watch the show. Because apparently one of the goals was to also attract the more mainstream audience to watch the movie. And from what we could see, the script Pascal read had a lot of continuity elements from the show that is also linked to Celestia and Luna’s background and they were going to finally establish an alicorn lore.

That’s pretty much my stance on this. That’s why I hope it ends, if not by this season, by season 7 and finishes with the movie.
I’ll take a meaningful end to the series over it being driven to the ground in the name of toy sales and stripped clean of everything good.Even a spin-off in the G4 universe would be better than this kind of fate.

Nah, I rather for them finish this next year and going with only (more adventure-like) specials if they are going to keep beating the horse for a couple of years more. Or simply going like they did with G1 (still the longest gen) and make an unrelated series with the same designs like they did with My Little Pony Tales.
Hopefully the movie and that’s it.The G4 toyline is going to continue until 2020 or so: I’d like at least one more season of FiM and perhaps a spin-off or sequel series.
