How old are their VA now? They can’t keep making the same voices from 6 years ago, not even with the use of digital audio edition.

I felt like a lot of my enjoyment from TFIOCM came from Scootaloo.  
She was great in this episode.

It seems ponies and griffons are already quite normalized around each other.  
It’s not like the other species like changelings, dragons, and yaks.

The CMC don’t sound THAT different… Heck, wasn’t Madeleine Peters already 18 when the show first started? I know she’s the oldest…

I have yet to watch the episode, but from what I see, Gabby never got a cutie mark.
 
Thank goodness, the balance is kept.

Honestly I think at this point a “next generation” would be better in continuing the story.

The show wouldn’t exactly jump the shark for me if a non pony did get one, but I was always more interested in personal entertainment over strict adherence to canon.
 
I can see where you and other people are coming from though. I figure if a non pony was trying way too hard to fit in with pony culture or to put ponies at ease or have their fur dyed.

Finished watching. Also, looks like i got to be faster nerxt time. Habro managed to take down everything they had on Youtube within one hour of upload.

I admit I’ve had the headcanon that zebras have more of a tribal tattoo on their flank, no I never really figured out the exact details for such or how they get it.

I figured Zecora’s cutie mark could be a tattoo with personal significance to her. And/or she put it there to make the ponies chill out a little bit.
 
As the only zebra in the show, can’t easily figure out if cutie marks are a common thing for them too. Maybe it really is a cutie mark, and she might have a good story about how she got hers.

How she earned her stripes?

I can only take hyperactive characters like Gabby in small doses. She makes Pinkie look sedate (never thought I’d say that). I don’t hate Gabby but maybe she should try listening before flying off.

Yeah, if no other creatures but ponies can get cutie marks then what is that on Zecora’s flank? I don’t believe it’s a tattoo. The mark is in the fur.

However, considering that ponies don’t seem to have any furless spots they can apply ink into, their definition of a tattoo could be a painting on fur.

Knowing how to actually make others feel better came far more naturally to Gabby than it did to Pinkie. It took moments for Gabby to fake a cutie mark to ease the CMCs’ feelings, but a whole episode for Pinkie to figure out what would make Cranky happy. Pinkie’s instinct was to try what would make Pinkie happy, and apply it directly to Cranky. And while it was a whole episode of that, it’s a running gag that Pinkie tends to annoy all the other ponies a lot of the time; stopping her bell-testing very early in “Castle of the Two Sisters,” terrorizing Fluttershy in several episodes, terrorizing the crystal ponies in her “spy” outfit, etc. They put up with her because they love her and know she means well, but she usually misses the mark with actually helping, unless she works at it hard.
