In other news, Biden has signed the Social Security Fairness Act. This measure would change some of the taxation on how SS is doled out.

But, the ads never worked. They make the person running the ads look GREAT because you have all the metrics and conversions right there and ready to dump into your powerpoint presentation.
But the conversions are only ‘engagement’ which is almost entirely bots engaging with bots, or people clicking ‘like’ and moving on.
I did a test for an indi brewery. Compared to a 1-month quarter column ad (duotone) in a local newspaper, an interview about the company’s expansion in a different paper, and a $2,000 facebook ad, the interview had significantly higher results.
Like - not even comparable.
The facebook ads (pointing to an event at the brewery with prizes and coupons) had less than 10 conversions. The quarter column ad had something like 500 conversions. And the interview article had something like 2,500 conversions.
The facebook ad CLAIMED to have more than 250,000 ‘engagements’. But that translated to less than 10 human beings coming in through the door.
The interview had the best conversions. But you can’t buy one of those - you have to get it through some thing the paper considers newsworthy. In this case it was an expansion and new game room, so that was great.
But - yeah - facebook LOOKS great. But it’s shit. It’s all smoke and mirrors and bots talking to bots.

Whatever methods you choose to use, if you can keep the crabs in quarantine long enough to confirm the main tank has no surviving mites, it’s best to do that.
Sanitising the substrate will be most efficient if you can boil it or bake it to ensure thorough, sufficient heat. I’d be unwilling to try how well the seams and walls on a tank hold up to water that’s hot enough to kill the critters, especially in volumes large enough to soak and heat the entire mass of the substrate. Taking it out will also permit you to clean the bottom of the tank and let it dry out completely for extra safety.
In any case, before breaking the quarantine, you should be positive that both the main tank and the crabs themselves are mite-free. Since you’ve seen them enter the shells, there’s no guarantee that some haven’t hitched a ride and could re-infest the main tank.
/ETA: after some basic searches, following are advised specifically for hermit crab tank grain mite infestations: remove food scraps and the food dish every time after feeding to minimize mite access to food; change water and rinse the dish daily; find the source of grain mites in your home and treat accordingly by disposing of spoiled goods and heat testing or freezing any containers mites could have gotten into (likely your dry pantry; locate mites by putting some flour on offer as bait; make the flour as smooth as you can; if mites have visited, the surface will be disturbed).

Actual alicorns are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of pony evolution have allowed Princes and Princesses to tell ascension candidates from frauds by mannerisms and skills alone. Even if your written test scores and friend seeking akin to an exiled lion somehow passes off as normal (it won’t), any alicorn royal will immediately cut all ties when they witness the skills and subpar magic of somepony who is not only a pathetic earth pony at best, but worth no more than garbage in skills, accomplishments, and likeability.

You could probably do a quick test by grabbing the data for a single deleted image using the API. >>3508642 (deleted) is the most recent image that’s been deleted, and none of the data on it was illegal, so you could just grab it via the API and that will show you what you might find in the dump.If someone working with the dumps knows, it would be nice if they would weigh in.

I don’t know. You will have to look. All I know is the way the nightly dump is created is unlikely to change, and I’m not aware of any plans to ‘special case’
ai generated images in the dumps.Personally, I’d be surprised if detailed information on deleted images were preserved in the dumps. A lot of the images we delete are deleted for violating rules, and sometimes even laws, and that can happen in descriptions and in tags, so I don’t know why we would preserve that data and expose it in a data dump.
There’s stuff we delete that is so illegal it would be a crime for us to show to the police as a part of reporting the uploader to authorities. So why would we create a nightly dump that includes it?

Go through this link. This will install a script to perform vote transfer.

Login on both derpi and tantabus with wanted accounts.

Get api key of your account from derpi. See API keys section and remember to not share this with anyone (including me).

Do the same on tantabus.

Open this url: https://tantabus.ai/pages/api?migrate-votes . If Tampermonkey and script installations were done correctly, you will see up to 5 input fields and Process button instead of usual field of text.

Paste gathered earlier API keys in these input fields. Third field is needed, if wish to don’t copy something (downvotes won’t be copied anyway), e.q. typing
upvotes, hiddenwill only transfer favorites. You may also specify id area to work with (in case if script stopped working at the middle of porting).

Eh, I doubt that. AI art will always have some kind of “artifact” and just generally something about it that tips it off.
This seems to be already falsified for some types of more general AI art. This might become the case with AI pony images too. I think it’s already the case for some pony images personally from my experience.

- Even if I post it under the Tantabus image, it’d no longer be credited to Button Fixer as the uploader (presuming he sets up an account there), so he wouldn’t necessarily see the notification that there’s a story under his clop of Snowdrop.

Time to head to the feature request thread for improvements to API calls returning metadata for deleted images, as I wouldn’t have time to attempt writing a proper sync until February. Basically, I’d want to take the JSON response of
my:upvotes/faves && ai generated with the &del=1 argument, then use the SHA hash and/or image ID to match on Tantabus (or any Philomena booru) and apply the appropriate favourite or vote.&del=1 appended returns the fact that there are deleted images in the set if you compare the result count to the same search without including deletions. However, the information for the deleted images is apparently not included in the response.@Fireheart76

At least on the cloppier side of things (which always seemed to have a higher AI art density), there must’ve been some tutorial on generating reliably acceptable AI art released over the summer. I can’t think of any major Pony Diffusion upgrades that coincide with the uptick in AI art, but I agree that there’s been a recent influx of lazy prompters who all suddenly discovered how to make images that pass the quality test. The old policy of 2 per day worked when prompters weren’t guaranteed something that’d pass quality checks on the first try.

See also: SFM spam. If SFM models were released today, we’d hopefully have the same conversations about being spammy and low-effort. Also like AI art, while there are a non-trivial number of legitimately good images, it’s safe to assume it’s uninspired slop valuable only to the original coomer unless you’ve seen the image for yourself to know it’s a good one.

It’s hard to tell whether Trump is joking or not. During the pandemic, Trump told people to stop testing because he thought that the reasons why the Covid cases are rising in the US is because of the tests. So one day, he joked about how he’ll stop people from doing Covid tests. And then he proceeded to revoke the FDA over lab-developed tests.
Trump just doesn’t take his duties seriously. This was also felt by his administration where they just had to make him feel important and he would go along with them. The actual details and implications of the decisions didn’t interest him.

IMO no democratic country should allow voter registration of individuals who don’t know the basics of their countrys constitution.And this would be a very easy ABCD test and would save so much in terms of understanding what one is voting for.
Unfortunately these have historically only been used to make it harder for minorities to vote, mainly blacks. They could just put in very vague questions that have no clear right answer so they can pick and choose who has the answer “right”.
Good understanding of the social and political structure is indeed very important but voter registration shouldn’t be a thing. It’s main purpose is to filter out people who don’t have time to get registered or don’t have the motivation. This helps the republicans as they have a large indoctrinated and highly motivated base that will jump through any hoops to vote.
Putting in competency tests like constitutional tests or literacy tests was banned because they provided too much opportunity for bad faith actors to disenfranchise minorities who would vote against them. You can also put in biased questions to filter out people who’s political opinion you don’t like.

You don’t want to have any rules in the system that say “These citizens aren’t allowed to vote” as that could present an opportunity for definitions to be stretched or things to be twisted.

I think the second one is more troubling. The first is just a stupidly false statement but the second actively says to avoid talking and encourages you to be disingenous towards them. To not actually listen or take seriously what they have to say.

There really is only one way to bring inflation down quickly and that’s price controls. Everything else will take years to be felt at all. Longer term solutions would be anti-trust to increase competition and higher capital taxes combined with higher minimum wages to increase purchasing power and decrease the money supply.
