Yeah I see what you guys were talking about with Geno’s English voice, I hadn’t heard it until now and it sounds pretty weird.

How tough would you think Boros would be in the DBZ universe?

Or how strong Would Saitama be too? I saw a fan Manga with Vegeta vs. Saitama and Vegeta seemed to be doing pretty well against him.

There was even a Majin Buu vs. Saitama one too by the same guy.

Probably somewhere around Freeza.

Saitama would still be invincible. What part of “One Punch Man” don’t you get? He has no limiter, he can punch as strong as he needs to.

They’d probably put up one of the most impressive fights against Saitama, but they’d still be vastly outmatched.

And the reason why I say Frieza (aside from the power levels demonstrated) is because Boros was clearly inspired somewhat by Frieza.

Huh, I always thought he was like a mixture of that or Saiyans because of the hair.

Man I wish Boros would get more love. Probably one of my favorite parts in OPM. Whens my Boros figure!

I wonder if we’ll ever get to see Saitama fight someone on par with him. I’m hoping when Bang shows up that’ll happen.

This is difficult to determine because of the mismatch between the physical strength and explosive ki power of Dragon Ball characters. After the Cell Saga, Goku in his base form struggled to lift 40 tons despite the fact that he was strong enough to destroy a planet with a ki blast. The energy requirement between those two feats is many orders of magnitude different. Yet despite this, Dragon Ball characters have demonstrated the ability to counter planet-busting attacks with their physical strength (such as Frieza kicking away an attack from Vegeta that Piccolo said threatened to destroy planet Namek). Logic goes out the window, it seems.

Boros’ best feat was the Planet-destroying Roar Cannon, which was capable of wiping the Earth’s surface clean. One possible interpretation of that is melting the Earth’s crust. Interestingly, the energy required to do this is on the same order of magnitude as that needed to destroy the Moon. Master Roshi was able to destroy the Moon way back in Dragon Ball, so it’s not that impressive by comparison. Boros’ speed and physical strength have the potential to be much higher than Roshi’s, however.

Saitama implied during the Monster Association arc that he could destroy the Earth, which would put his lower limit somewhere around that of Saiyan Saga Vegeta. I don’t think it is stated anywhere, be it the webcomic, manga or author statements, that Saitama has infinite power. Boros sure wasn’t saying that he had infinite power when he said that he could “sense no limit” to Saitama’s energy, otherwise he would have never thought he could win the battle. He was only stating that HE could not sense the full extent of Saitama’s power. Statements that Saitama has “half the power of the Big Bang” have never been found to have an official source. Also, breaking his limiter doesn’t mean that Saitama is infinite in power. It just means that his strength is beyond the limit for humans in the OPM universe. Garou broke his limiter as well but did not gain infinite strength from it. Being able to one-punch anyone in his own universe doesn’t mean he can one-punch anyone from any other universe.

All valid points.
But my headcanon is going to stay Saitama-is-literally-fucking-invincible-and-can-win-against-literally-anything, because that is my fetish.

Well, to be fair, in Dragon Ball, a lot of the ki blasts just cause massive damage (and they need to be charged up for that massive damage too). Yeah, Vegeta threatened to destroy Earth during his first fight with Goku, but that was just a threat, it was never really confirmed. Also, with Freeza, he had a special move for that, the Death Ball. And even with that one, it had to obliterate the crust of the planet first before it hit the core. And THEN, the planet exploded.

I’m not even sure whether or not Cell’s Kamehameha would actually destroy a solar system. He just threatened to do it, but it was never really confirmed. Also, with that 40 tons thing, that was on King Kai’s planet. Which is 10x Earth’s gravity.

Garou did not break his limiter, he only came very close of doing so. Probably because he needed to overcome his opponents in order to further strain his limiter, and hit a bick wall with Saitama.

The guy that does all those cool OPM x DBZ manga’s is doing the cover for the new one he’s been working on starring Genos!

Neato! I wonder if that means he’s almost finished?

Even without considering planet-busting feats, the Moon-busting feat by Roshi vs. post-Cell Saga Goku’s lifting ability (even if you do consider a 10-fold increase due to gravity) are still wide apart by many orders of magnitude in terms of raw energy requirements. We have constructed quite a few machines that can lift 400 tons (large transport aircraft, for example), but the energy possessed by such a machine is nowhere even remotely close to a fraction of a percent of the Moon’s gravitational binding energy. Earth’s entire nuclear arsenal would only cause surface damage to the Moon. It’s not even close to a comparison. It just goes to show how absurd the gap is.

@441TheSecond
That is something that I wasn’t entirely clear on. The translation I read said that Garou’s limited “seemed” to be breaking, which does leave some ambiguity. He did, however, experience disenthrallment and emptiness similar to what Saitama experienced after breaking his limiter. Maybe Murata’s version will expound on this further.

Not really, he only felt defeated when despise his greatest efforts, he could not beat Saitama, he was incredibly passionate about his cause up until he is beaten.
