God damn, has Saitama actually told anyone what he did on that alien ship? it’s bugging the hell out of me that nobody besides maybe Genos knows the extent of his contribution. Like I get that he doesn’t care enough to inform people of his doing, but GOD DAMN.

It’s not that he doesn’t care, he doesn’t want credit, after the Sea folk he had the realization that other heroes aren’t invincible like him, so he doesn’t feel like he deserves all that credit when they risk their lives just trying to slow monsters down while he is in no danger at all, if everyone knew how strong he was all those other brave heroes would be ignored, and he doesn’t want that, Saitama may not realize it himself, but what makes him a true hero isn’t the power, it’s his own good nature,

I just don’t see it fitting him in most scenarios.
something closer to his japanese voice actor would probably fit best, but that may just be bias.

that’s how I felt initially, but I do absolutely love how well the VA delivers Saitama’s lines, at least from that trailer
I will say that it’s nothing like I expected it to be, but I can’t say I’m disappointed with the voice we did get instead

I for one appreciate that they went for a different kind of voice that still kinda fits. (They might have had Saitama with hair in mind a bit)
