i got a cloudflare error when i posted that comment, so i turned on a vpn to use a romanian ip instead, and posted again, not realizing the original post had gone through despite the error message.
 
we very rarely fully delete forum posts. that’s the only reason you see the “omitted post” thing.

ha ha, literally nothing i do for the site is public so it’s so easy to forget i’m on the staff team. that and i’m probably the only one on staff who’s not entirely evil except for maybe Joey so i’m a lot easier to mistake for still being human.

I feel Rara is already been forgotten as a character despite big celebrity hype and her amazing design and connection to one of the main characters in the show.

I still remember her, heck, there are a few characters who have had interactions with either the CMC or the mane 6 that the fandom has just forgotten entirely.

Still kinda peeved that Diamond Tiara/Silver Spoon hasn’t done anything yet.
 
I mean after making such a huge fanfare about her reformation, you would think that Diamond Tiara would’ve done something by now, or at least have a speaking line. Every other season by this point has had her in the spotlight for an episode. If season 6 really is the last season like everyone’s saying it is, then it would be a really weak way for her to go out.

I strongly agree. I’m hoping both characters get some screentime before the season is over.
 
But I think we will get another season before the movie is released.

It would be disappointing if they don’t do anything with Silver. She doesn’t have to have her own episode (although that would be nice), they just need to give her a personality and show that she isn’t a satellite character for Diamond Tiara.

The staf seems to love introducing lots of disposable characters that pop out from nowhere and are shown to be totally important before being tossed to limbo.
 
I’m all out for new characters, but at least I expected to see the main ones being enough developed before we are introduced to more and more new ones and argh.

Kinda hoping for “The Fault in our Cutie Marks” to have something. That seems like the most plausible episode so far.

If the writers were smart, then Every Little Thing She Does could have Starlight fixing the friendships of already established characters like Diamond and Silver instead of making up new characters. There’s a 50/50 chance that Where The Apple Lies could be a CMC episode, maybe involving Babs Seed.

Kinda worried for The Fault in out Cutie Marks now.
 
I mean, a while back I was excited for it because Ed Valentine teased that he wrote the episode, but after “The Cart Before the Ponies” I’m gonna be a little bit more cautious. :s

It really would be, I’m just hoping next season will have an episode focusing on Silver Spoon, though I won’t hold my breath (and I really do want them to do SOMETHING with her in terms of family and personality).

It has the CMC befriend a young griffon who wants a cutie mark. The story sounds interesting, hopefully Ed can do it justice.
