Derpibooru was exceptionally quiet before ponibooru died. For comparative purposes, on 16/06/2012 (the saturday right around when ponibooru died) we saw 35 unique visitors, less than 500 pageviews. On the following Saturday, the 23rd, we saw almost 7000 unique visitors and more than 250,000 pageviews, which is a roughly 50,000% increase in raw traffic over that week alone. Things were a bit crazy.

I had actually gone by alot of usernames before this, all of which were problematic for one reason or another. One time a friend tried to get me to go back to a forum I had left, and I decided I’d assume an alter ego. Sardonically, I combined the prefixes of the words “archetype” and “stereotype.” Well, the alter-ego thing didn’t work out, I left again, and “Archestereo” was better than any of the other usernames I’ve come up with (plus I’ve yet to be told it’s been taken), so it stuck.

By far my favorite thing is the skin of chicken, duck, or pork. When eating any of them, I tear the skin off the meat and save it for last.
I also love shrimp, particularly if it’s spicy. I prefer to eat shrimp with the shell on. It’s just got so much flavor, and I love the crunch it adds.
