Derpibooru nostalgia

Do you guys remember, back in the days of yore, when we only had to go through a few pages too see all the updates from the last 24 hours. I almost get 6 pages in watched tags these days.

i only came here when ponibooru shut down. i like this place a lot better though. but it has seen pretty much exponential growth.

I only started going to Ponibooru a little bit before it was shut down, and I found it unbearably slow and unreliable.
 
I had never even heard of this place until after ponibooru went down.

i remember when an ad of DB appeared in PB, but i can’t remember the reaction it.

I pretty much spent my entire Booruhood here. I joined Ponibooru at little too late, a month before the shut down was announced. Derpibooru has changed a lot since…once just a sleepish village in a remote backwater of the fandom.
 
BTW, How many members did Derpibooru have before the Exodus?

Oh yeah, the dreaded downtimes and crashes. I was a anon for most of the Ponibooru days. I remember at times when it took nearly 2 months before we had updates on issues regarding that site. During the downtime, people made the best out of what they had, chilling out. That Humanized Futashy and Twilight Airplane are still fresh in my mind.
 
Couldn’t imagine how hard it was for Eco to maintain the site practically all by himself. Wonder what happened to him.

i spent a good deal of time there. you could really tell that it was just falling more and more apart as time progressed.  
I also never made an account on ponibooru. The community wasn’t too great I think. I made an account here after one day. Been coming here ever since.

Ponibooru was awesome because of the community, so when Derpi announced itself, I and many others were very dismissive of it.

I actually had an account here for a few months before the move I believe but it was so empty here that I ignored it, I don’t think this site has seen any real “downtime” since

I’ve spent quite a bit of time both on Ponibooru as well as here. I do like it here more, but even I still have a bit of nostalgia when it comes to the original pony image community. Especially the mass-dance parties.
