The shield spell is very powerful. It has negated everything from Tirek to Discord.

I’m just hoping somebody in the future of the series has something that can negate and break the shield spell.

I appears the shields can been broken by physical force judging on how the Changlings broke into Canterlot in the season 2 finale. But that could easy be because SA is weaker, or have been weakened during the episodes due to constant use and the fact he was under Chrysalis’s influence.
 
Starlight’s beam didn’t look weak. But Twilight’s shield was strong. This isn’t the first time Twilight used the same spell either. Ponyville Confidential back in season 2 when she was still a unicorn.

It looks different from SAs shield spell, but that might just be the animation upgrade.

I would like it better if she has companions, and that the Mane 6 encounters them each elsewhere throughout the season with a different artifact. Leading to the final showdown. And possibly a big bad.

I hope she keeps popping up to find Meadow Brook’s 8 artifacts.  
Some the mane 6 find, some she gets, and then final. You know like Xiaolin Showdown.

I’m hoping there is at least 5 more pony antagonists who are similar to her.
