All the sources imply Luna’s form is tied to the phases of the moon somehow.

I’d imagined if Sombra was back into his full body, he would of just flicked SA away.

Although, we don’t have any confirmation that it’s all alicorns are immortal or just the sisters.

Here’s another possibility I came up with.
 
Having nothing else left, Radiant took up the princesses original offer and eventually became an alicorn. She then dedicated herself to tracking down Amore’s shards with her newfound immortality. She’s still working on it, explaining why she hasn’t been seen since.
 
Also, along the way she got knocked up, had Cadance (naming her after her beloved lost princess), and left her with that village from the Crystal Heart book because she still had a job to do (complete with name tag that says Mi Amore Cadenza).
 
Thoughts on that?

I’m guessing Equestria was still a young semi-divided and primitive kingdom compared to the Crystal Empire back then.

I’ve had this idea for a crystal princess stuck outside for a long time. I’m so happy if it becomes canon.
 
Also, does that mean she becomes Cadence’s ancestress? Is Cadance covered in this comic at all?

He punished her with freedom - with life.

And yet he didn’t enslaved Hope, nor killed her, or even crystallized her to have a cute pony sculpture in his library.
 
Me thinks there is still hope for Sombra, if he comes back and tries again to release his shadow brethren.
