Weren’t they the proper barbie style dolls though? I’d be delighted if they were mind! But I do though they you can get Vinyl in her normal outfit with the Canterlot high playset.

Actually, that’s right. One of the shops listed them, but without pictures I assumed they were clerical errors (All the mane 6 ponies had pictures on the listing)

Well, aside from collecting the blind bag ponies, and that pony themed marine army of mine, (which has actually gained me some fame with those in to 40k, although obviously gets a mixed reaction), the only merchandise I have is two different sized versions of the spaghetti-mane Octavia plush. A little one that sits on my PC desk, and a bigger one which is usually sat on the floor looking out of place amongst my 40k titans.

Scary isn’t it? You know full well, that Mane-Iac doll will be worth an absolute fortune given 10-15 years.  
Those in the target demographic will want to collect them for nostalgia reasons. And rare toys like this are always worth a lot.
 
As for Chrysalis, I don’t know if they did an equestria girls version of her, but I do know there’s a pony of her. It’s a recolour of the big talking Cadance one, (which itself was a recolour of that botched up pink Celestia one that came out with “my wings are so pretty” or something like that). That was a Toys-R-Us exclusive, which I got as part of my daughter’s christmas presents last year. It’s currently on a shelf over her bed.

Not really, There is only one Discord, the Funko one, Same with Maneiac except she’s limited edition. No Sombra toy and the only Queen Chrssy I know of is the EQG doll.

Well considering that Mlp/EG is one of Hasbro’s better selling toy lines (along with Transforemers and Star Wars) I would say there is pretty high chance we’ll see some promising reveals.

Here’s hoping.
It’s strange, as Hasbros MO is to have a metric gaktonne of characters and release one toy of each, as that gives the 6 year old demographic the ‘opportunity’* to have lots of different characters.
*Marketing speak.
 
Yeah they do this for a lot of their lines. I know for the Rainbow Power and Cutie Mark Magic brushables they released a variety of different characters. Same with the EQG dolls based on RR and it’s shorts like Life is a runway as well.

Whilst I wouldn’t be surprised if the first wave of these things is just different versions of the main 6, a second wave would probably focus on the villains, considering the idea for kids to play scenes out, (and Hasbro aren’t completely blind to the fandom).
 
Didn’t Hasbro make an EQG doll of Mane-iac at one point? That’s an example of a line based at the younger crowd that would appeal to the older folks as well. Releasing the villains next is a smart move, but I do wonder if they would release the first EG villain Sunset and then the good girl RR and FG Sunset in two different packs?

Shame really. I won’t be displeased if it’s just 4 variations of the mane six, but it would have been cool to see different characters! Although if this is supposedly set 1, then hey, they might be in set 2.
 
And yes, I’d love Derps as well :P Dazzlings and Vinyl would also be ace, and I’d like Lyra, Bon Bon, Sunset, Tavi and the shadowbolts as well.

It hasn’t been confirmed, as they haven’t released them all yet, but it looks that way.  
Shame it’s for a tv mini series and not for the films, because I like the look of them, but I want the Dazzles* :(
