She needs more respect. It’s just annoying how she’s so left out. She has a lot of personality and character, but no one really cares to show it. I know some characters have gotten worse, but Aria to me was just as big of a character as Dagi and Sonata were.

I don’t know why but poor old Aria is often underrated and overlooked a lot even by the show writers/comic writers themselves. I think it’s because she’s the middle ground between Adagio and Sonata, she’s neither scheming, manipulative evil or ditzy and clueless. At least her fans are very dedicated. She is my second favourite character overall, I love her design, voice and personality. Your new Sonata avatar is adorable!

Agreed! :) I love all the villains and antagonists in Equestria Girls, they are awesome.  
I saw an interview with the comic writers about Fiendship is Magic 3 and they didn’t even mention poor Aria.

I love the Shadowbolts but the Dazzlings are more interesting, since they have a backstory and are far more developed.

Well, that’s good we’re getting Sonata, but Adagio and Aria are just as important, besides, you can’t have the Dazzlings without all 3 sirens. And with the Shadowbolts, I felt the Dazzlings were more interesting then the Shadowbolts

I don’t get that either. I have heard some Just Sonata merchandise is coming soon. That sounds good but I will be sad if Adagio and Aria are left out. The Shadowbolts are marketed a lot more than The Dazzlings even though the Shadowbolts don’t get that many lines. Maybe Hasbro find them more marketable?

The minis themselves are quite good although Hasbro has bodged some of the designs, they’re much better than what Hasbro normally puts out. I’m still waiting for that Dazzling comeback where they have a wonderful new evil plan to take over the school, schools or world. Or even just revenge. Any of the above.

I think the rumour about the spinoff series was a translation error from the French version of Rainbow Rocks called ‘Equestria Academy’.
 
Hopefully they’ll consider making one, one day since there just isn’t enough time to develop these things in the movies. However, they seem to be sticking to the rule of a new antagonist for every film.
 
I don’t know why I didn’t get an artists badge, I asked for one. Maybe it’s because when I was asked for the associated tag that I wanted I put a capital B instead of all lowercase letters. Example: artist:Blazingdazzlingdusk.  
I put the verification link on my page but I never got the badge. I tried to do the same thing again but it wouldn’t let me use the same link to my page twice.

Well, there was a rumour a while ago that Hasbro were considering doing a spin off Equestria Girls series. I don’t know if anything came of that, or if they’re just sticking to the movies for now.
 
I’d like to think The Dazzlings would then become the recurring villains for that series, seeing as they didn’t get reformed, just defeated. (The fact they tried to carry on singing is proof enough of that).
 
(On a side note, how come BlazingDazzlingDusk hasn’t got an artist badge yet? (47 sketches and comic strip pages,and counting). Mind, I had over 130 images here under my own artist’ tag before I got a badge. And I only got that after posting in the comments section of a featured image actually saying I wanted the badge. Luckily one of the site moderators was lurking there too. Not sure if I should have qualified for other badges).

I have mixed feelings on this mini-series. Feelings which would cease to be mixed if the Dazzlings made their grand return as the main antagonists–or at least major antagonists. You know the terms; no redemption, and I (and several others) will be content.
 
And you better believe I’d buy the Dazzlings as Minis in a heartbeat. The humble beginnings of a Dazzling shrine of my very own…

Fingers crossed, we see some great reveals next year for Toy Fair. Hasbro would do good if we got mini Sirens and Shadowbolts. I even have spots for the Dazzlings if they’re made.
