I can shit and piss any time at my freight job because I don’t need to worry about that.

It’s much harder at my new deli job because there’s a pace I need to set and if I break it there’s nothing to “put off until tomorrow” or someone else can pick up. I’m the only one that’s there to skewer, roast, package, set out, and shred rottisarie chicken. So as much as I would like to do otherwise to give my feet and back a break as an excuse, I only shoot myself in the foot.

In brief, setting aside that it’s non-GAAP, the closer your EBITDA is to EAITDA the better it is for capital planning and for impressing the investors. So if you can eliminate “T” from that formula then things are a little less dependent on jurisdiction and the dog and pony show at the annual meeting is a lot easier and less smoke and mirrors.

Taxes actually are incredibly useful but usually for A and D, and the more you leverage it the less it costs you actual IRL money bills to expand or, as seems to be the rage now, purchase your competitors if they are worth less than it costs you to compete with them.

It honestly doesn’t matter how much the taxes are. They’re just another potential asset, from a certain point of view.

TL;DR: There are several bills that impact Virginia’s Gun Laws, one of the two being SB 16 and SB 18. SB 18 would raise the minimum age limit to purchase gun to 21 and requires background checks for any firearms transfer, SB 16 would expand the definition of an “assault weapon” and would prohibit “any person from importing, selling, transferring, manufacturing, purchasing, possessing, or transporting an assault firearm,” that is according to the summary of the bill.

Now, tell me I’m in the Twilight Zone when I say this, I don’t mind SB 18, but do have a problem with SB 16, mainly when the term “assault weapons” is used.
