Damn, he did a lot of stuff. I’m not sure if it’d be reasonably possible to maintain a “super tagger” badge because it would be very difficult to meter (identifying users - there’s no way to search/list by metadata quantity) and determine if they were good edits or just random, non-contributive badges. But I think he may deserve some kinda recognition for all that.

How about a badge for ex-mods/site assitants?
When a person has had enough and steps down, their old mod-era comments (like “stop now or I’ll ban both of you”) can look confusing. A badge indicating their old status might alleviate this confusion somewhat. It would also work for recognition: “this person sacrificed their own time and sanity for making this place a little better”.
Not sure what it would look like. Twilight Snapple, or a generic medallion?
(If no badges, then simply mentioning a user’s past status on their profile page would be fine too.)
