Not a mod, but:
There’s a difference between having a URL verified to a Derpibooru account, and having a link in the description of an artist tag. Although AFAIK only an artist can set up a verified link, that’s not needed to have a link listed in a tag’s description as evidenced by many times that I’ve posted in the “Request artist tag aliases here” thread and the relevant links got added to the tag description.

I usually add a link in the long description, when I find them or due to working on aliases and stuff like that. But I never do unless I know that it’s one of the artists own profiles or galleries.

Artist links in the description is not something I’ve encountered more than once or twice. Maybe we’ll have a better system in the future that allows users to add them to a tag.

Maybe you haven’t, but there are many. Granted, that’s less that 0.5% of all artist tags.

Yeah - some of those, like Andy Price is a great example of how we try to document the various online galleries of artists who don’t have profiles here. Keeping them updated is much slower and not as good as with artists actually here, but we do try to update them whenever we have to edit the tags for some reason, like aliasing into newer names.

Is there a way to not show the images you upvote in a search?
