Hello all.
I’m not quite sure of this is the right thread for this topic, so my apologies if this is the case, but:
I discovered that I have over 100 uploads under my artist tag, and I believe that qualifies me for the An Artist Who Rocks badge. How/who do I ask about acquiring it?

I did put in a couple if requests for badges and reasons why I think I fit the criteria, but I’m not sure who handles giving them out

Whomever has access to the buttons does. But I don’t work on badges unless I’ve gotten through the emergencies first, and I assume that’s the same for everyone else.

2LDR: The person who’s been ban evading and trolling the site with some of the most egregious shitposts we’ve seen since 2018 and is currently trying to get back on the site is taking all my attention right now.

And when I’m done with that, my next focus is getting the community collab badges to everyone.

But .. when I’m done with that, then I’ll swing by the badges thread.

Okay. Well, hopefully the one who gives out the badges will sort out when they can.
What spurred this on for me was finding out that Sear got a Best Artist badge just recently, and that made me realise that I might qualify for that and/or similar badges

It appears to have been resolved already. I did report it immediately again with the correct number.

Still, it would be nice to have an undo button.

I noticed some images got deleted - >>3443777 (deleted) and others - which I am fine with (I thought they were pointless and I downvoted them, though I didn’t know they were actually against site rules - at most, I thought they might get dedupe-merged all into one).

However, the rule cited is Rule #3, although they showed Equestria Girls characters and weren’t “obligatory pony” (there was no content at all other than the Equestria Girls characters). Shouldn’t the cited rule have been #6 (spammy/site abuse) or #n?

Also, could my 2-months-old “In progress” report of a user for Rule #2 be closed? They haven’t done any of the reported behavior since then and I’m up against the 5-report limit and have more things to report.

Well, I did manage to squeak those 4 in as other reports got closed, but needless to say, I’m still at 5 open reports and now there’s that guy who might or might not be a bot but definitely is a ban evader (may be the one know as “.mov spammer”), so here ya go:

This method of reporting problems is incredibly … fraught …

Not having these in our tracking system makes it likely that there will be duplicate effort, makes it significantly harder for us to track the actions, and really has the opportunity to lead to errors. Not to mention it’s going to be impossible to track if anyone’s worked these or not.

Not to mention it’s really not what this thread is for, and you’re pinging people who do not work on these kinds of moderation issues every time you post here.

Please just aggregate all your extra reports into a PM and send it to me at the end of the day, ok? That way only one of us is getting hit with these, and I’ll make it my job to figure out how to document them in the tracker.

Not 100% sure if this is the correct place to ask, but I had a question regarding an artist’s DNP.

I’ve recently received the completed version of a commission (just a few hours before writing this), and in checking their DNP, they do actually have an exception listed on the “Conditions” tab, allowing the commissioner to post it.

While I’m sure those are just words since there’s no real way for the site to be able to verify that, I wanted to know if there was some way I could “officially sidestep” the DNP block to post it? Or have some kind of temporary allowance to upload just the one image?
