Well they did do becoming the old heros with Ginga, and then Victory who could replace his arms with that of monster’s arms, the two fusing, and then X who got armors(some based of versions of monster and two based on past Ultras).

Agreed. I’m only at episode 20 right now, but I love it.
 
…I do think the number of form changes is a tad excessive, though.

I really miss Battlizers and other Power Rangers-exclusive gear and vehicles… Or when they would expand on the vehicles present in the Sentai (ex. Only Go Red had a bike in GoGoV, but Lightspeed Rescue gave bikes to all of them. Other example: only Gao Silver had a bike in Gaoranger, but Wild Force gave Savage Cycles to the whole team).

One thing I find really weird about Dino Charge is how they just gloss over the fact that bonding to an Energem makes you fucking IMMORTAL.

I would’ve made a rebuttal, but that’s disturbingly true. It’s not like they can do a Power Rangers Dino Charge: 100 Years After movie like they did with Kyoryuger and make it a bit more useful plotwise, we don’t do the whole J-Cinema thingy. It’s most likely a reason to justify why Koda isn’t like the IRL Iceman; after all Koda was frozen in ice for 100,000 years and looks no worse for wear thanks to the Blue Energem.

They need Keeper’s staff is all, not told way but he used it to sever Albert’s bond with the purple energem.

I think that Toho is trying to play up the more “monstrous” part of Big G’s character in order to differentiate him from Legendary’s Godzilla. Who was more of an animal than anything.

I read somthing that he might have a second form in the move.  
But the dark, almost black skin and the dark red lines, and the arms looking rather thin just make it look like his turning into Zombiezilla to me.

the red parts are supposed to be radiation burns while a whale skeleton is embedded on the tail.  
basically besides being taller, they one upped the visual cues from legendary’s godzilla ( which also features radiation burns)
