Free and Fair elections never truly existed to start with due to the electoral college in place if 2016 is anything to go by.

Got a centralized tracker for anti and pro-LGBTQ legislation in the states here being managed by trans journalists such as Erin Reed and Alejandra Caraballo. It’s been fascinating to look over the colored state map, and seeing the bills broken down into their specific subject matter as well as where they are in the lawmaking process.

It’s only been one month and 341 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced in state legislatures, along with another 7 being carried over from late 2024.

I only wish every state was as robust about trans protections as ours.

IIRC, Israel-Palestinian conflict was only a minor reason why people were voting last year. It was mainly economy, election integrity, and abortion. While the economy was said to be good according to the reports, the voters didn’t believe it because the grocery prices were too high and voted for the Republicans, thinking that they would fix the economy.

Boy, how they were wrong and practically ignored everything what the Republicans were running for….

Well, Trudeau just announced that they’re implementing their retaliatory tariffs. It’s on now, and it’s gonna suck for both sides.

Trump’s CDC halts and retracts all publications in order to scrub forbidden terms in large part referring to the LGBT. I thought the left were the ones that were going to go all 1984? Oh wait. I forgot. Gaslight. Obstruct. Project. It’s ok as long as it happens to those the Reichies see as subhuman.

Yeah and Trudeau opened his announcement by pointing out all the times Canada did the US a solid, up to and including sending their own soldiers to fight and die alongside America’s for America’s wars.

Like, damn. That’s some impressive shame slinging. Sure as hell is a far cry from listening to our own leader fight a losing battle against the only language he knows.

Oh and Canada cited that the tariffs would affect like $155 billion worth of goods. I’m pretty sure that’s pre-tariff, so congrats MAGA.

2 things:

Seeing how Trump treats his closest neightbours is scary. 25% tariff on almost everything. China is getting 10%. EU is next, I wonder what Trump has in store for us, more or less than Canada? Also the Fentanyl/illegal reasoning is bs, especially for Canada. What Trump wants is more production inside the US and make the “trade deficit” as he calls it less. Odd since the US has largely moved away from production and into a service economy on its own. While it makes sense to do this to a country like China to an extent, especially in security matters, doing it to Canada is pants on head retarded. And now he is coming for the EU, an economy large enough to strike back.
