Good, that’s all I am asking. The part where people find about the SJW and start joking about triggers not being a real thing has happened before, so I am very wary of it happening again.
 
It is a fine line to draw between making fun triggers and making fun of people who are triggered; a subtle distinction, but it is the most important to make of all.

Kinda random, but meanwhile in India, there’s a group of women dressed in pink, call themselves the Gulabi Gang (literally means Pink Gang), and go around beating abusive husbands with brooms, stop child marriage, train women in self-defense, and many other stuff.

Though for the record, that site only records drama. They’re not doing anything other than sitting back, enjoying the show, and taking notes.

The new ED only records drama. It is actually kind of superior to old ED in certain ways, and can actually be used as an informative encyclopedia of drama starters. Partially because they learned that it was funnier to let lolcows dig their own holes.

I mean, come on. I’ve had to run some pretty in-depth background checks on people, but even if you don’t like them, it’s fucked up to go all “I notice your bathroom window doesn’t have curtains” on them.

@Eggonaught We’ve been doing that since Portal of Evil days. The only diff is now we can use google earth to take a picture before the pizzas start showing up. Also in my day you used to need your address/RL name for everything, especially private newsgroups, so I really don’t see how this is a bigger deal than draining someone’s bank account.

Okay, one part of me wants to laugh that they found her house. The other part actually really worries me about her safety.

I’m not advocating it, but it’s really not as creepy as you make it sound. Look at image exif data –> get GPS coordinates –> look in Google Street View –> compare findings.
 
There are people (on both sides of this) who dig through several hundred pages of blog posts to dig up dirt on each other.
 
I honestly think the latter shows more “stalking” tendency than the former. Well, except if you’re actually going to use the address to go stalk her.
 
I dunno. Both are kind of creepy. But also kind of hilarious.

I’m just going to leave this here. I’m actually pretty much done with this fandom and everything in particular and I think that Pinkie Pony is trash in general.
 
However, the fact that these people are now actively stalking this girl and trying to do this is pretty disgusting. I don’t care that she’s a terrible person and the whole “well she deserves it” defense doesn’t work one lick for me. She is a terrible and immature person but she’s still, regardless of what she’s done, a naive and sheltered 17 year old idiot.
 
The fact that people have taken the time and effort to trace and find out her physical address and want to take this kind of action is absolutely disgusting.
 
I have always thought that she was not only on the wrong side of this whole thing, but also that she was on the wrong side, doing the wrong things, for the wrong reasons. However, now I see clearly that everyone is fucked up and no matter where you stand pretty much everyone is scum.
 
This shit should have been rightfully left to fester and die. Instead, it’s going to bite EVERYONE in the ass and lead to nothing but trouble because people are bored, stupid, or easily offended.
 
 
This “war” (and I shudder to use such a term) had been nothing but fucking trouble and I am ashamed that anything ever came to this.
 
I think I just give up in general.
