This isn’t going to be a popular opinion, but I think people should focus a lot more on what to do when bullied online instead of concentrating on “removing” cyberbullying.
As in, “don’t hurt yourself, here are some sources for you to contact,” so on and so forth.
On a tangent, when I was 11, we didn’t have Internet, so can’t say I’ve been in his spot. I was bullied in real life, instead, for a physical attribute; I was one fat kid. I’d been bullied for years for that, too. It felt freaking awful, but I dealt with it.
No matter how hard I try, I just can not imagine online bullying to be worse than what I got, especially since you can easily just tune shit out on the ’Net, or even just get offline altogether.
I can also see certain groups (like those we talk about in this thread) use even the most mild of things to make you look like some “felony CyberBully” or some shit.
Just some random thoughts on that.
