Well, it’s a moot point for a lot of us since the Shrouding anyway. All the multiversal singularities in my neck of the woods got split into localized incarnations for all the individual universes, and the beefed-up dimensional boundaries mean most of us normal folks can’t dimension-hop at all any more.

There’s simpler concerns.
 
You could wander into a reality where you’re impossible, and just suddenly never have existed.
 
That happened to me once. I don’t remember the details, because I wasn’t there. All I remember is, it was cold and quiet for a moment, and then all my memories went blank, and the next thing I knew I’d fallen back into a place where I was real.
