Personally I wouldn’t have known I was bi if I hadn’t been unwittingly seduced during a tabletop rp ship after I had previously said I was completely straight. So to give a different perspective on this.
 
Granted I had consented to experimenting at the time. I wanted to see if I could believably rp a gay character. This is different and unasked for.
 
Plus again She’s in a relationship.
 
Edit Also came to mind that since straight is the normal most gays/lesbians probably experimented with trying for straight romances before they came out and found out it wasn’t for them. The opposite is probably way rarer.

Okay, to be honest, whenever I see this, I cringe. My sister is a lesbian and I see it all the time when me, she and her wife are out, and it’s… I dunno, I really feel embarassed for the guys :P

Well. There are bisexual people. Just because someone has or has had a same sex relationship doesn’t mean they are only homosexually attracted. But he could put it in a better way.  
I have noted that attraction between sexes for bisexual people need not be the same for both genders. A given bisexual might be attracted physically directly to one gender but only get a physical attraction to the other gender first after getting to know them.
