The funny thing is that gender doesn’t really enter into it here, because unless I’m badly mistaken, this Twilight is bi. She’s not interested because she’s in a committed relationship.

I never said that I liked it either. I like Angel, and I feel that Blue and Sven get too much hate. And while I ship Celestia/Discord, I say that villains need to keep at least a part of their original nature, like Discord still being a dick with his god-like powers and gave Celestia a hard time every now and then, still maturing.
@Meanlucario
Yeah, I get that, but I don’t like it.
I’m cool with shipping redeemed villains (I think the artist you’re thinking of is Loppidity), so long as they’re actually redeemed and have worked to better themselves. They’ve gotten past what made them bad and have a shot at a decent future. I wish that mentality would extend even to guys like this one here. He said a scummy thing, that’s it. All of us have said terrible things in our lives. We learn and grow and even the good ones of us will still fail and stick our foot in our mouth once in a while. We don’t deserve to get curbstomped every time, though.
@SilFoe
You never looked up Svengallop, Prince Blueblood, or Angel Bunny here. This fandom has a odd habit of hating jerks and dicks. While I hate Sven, he’s given much too much hate for how one-dimensional he was. Blueblood gets too much hate, and Angel is a dick that cares for Flutters, but is treated as a monster. There’s an image of Dash killing him, and the comments are mostly “He had it coming”, “It was just a prank”, and “Dash did something right for a change”.
The irony is that the same people love villains like Queen Chrysalis and Sombra, and ship them with the main cast and the royal, despite that they tried to kill ponies, and has a 180 personality change that doesn’t make sense. A example of this is that is an artist (don’t remember her(?) name), who ships Twilight/Discord, Celestia/Chrysalis, Trixie/Blueblood, and Luna/Random Griffin. The twist is that the only one that has any problems is Trixies’s relationship. No one has a problem with the other three, even Luna’s child who may or may not eat meat, and Trixie is hooked up with Maud, and the Blueblood thing was just for the child (named Moondancer before the canon), and for unnecessary drama. There’s someone who ships Flutters/Somba, but he’s still a dick and filled of hate, so I’m giving it a pass.
The moral is that people hate jerks/dicks, but love villains, and not a so bad it’s good way.
It’s disgusting to me that people seem to think violence against stallions is ok because a mare feels slighted.
It’s disgusting to me that people think it’s ok to insult a persons relationship by hitting on them when they are obviously happily involved with another person.
