i was actually asking about the second thing.
There was major backlash when Vector Prime–the first NJO book and the Vong’s debut–was released because Chewie was killed off. With the new canon, he doesn’t || sacrifice himself to save people from being crushed by a moon||, and that makes the fanbase happy. It would, anyway, if Han hadn’t died by patricide and left Chewie forever alone. Majority fanbase just loves them together, but hey, the show must go on.

Funny thing about the new canon is the fan disservice it did by bringing Chewie back at the cost of Han.
And heartily agreed, the Vong were marvelous antagonists. Pity The Clone Wars went unplugged before they could make their on-screen debut.

I think it’s less that and more they can’t get over the EU being invalidated. Now granted, a lot of the EU is great, but having the films proper be lockstep beholden to published fanfiction is the height of insanity. Or have we all forgotten the loveliness that is the Yhuuzhan Vong?

Potentially, apparently from what I heard those hilts ARE exhaust ports for that specific saber, its build quality isn’t meant to be the greatest.
Could use it as a cross guard as well mind, though I’m sure you would have to train well with it to ensure no self finger chopping.
Oh, that’s plain as day. Anakin is undoubtedly redeemed and he has to be torn up over how much his old legacy is destroying his family from the grave.
