Well… Considering that the glimpse of Blast that we got showed him to have a very similar design to Saitama, sans a more elaborate suit design and hair, it’s not entirely impossible.

Something that would be funny to see is when Blast is finally revealed and we finally get to see his face we are greeted with this same look,
 

 
And it turns out Blast is the same bored hero like Saitama.

It’s implied that his regeneration worked in the same way as TaffyMonster (Don’t remember his name), as in, he needed a gem to keep regenerating. Since Saitama apparently shattered it, Boros is dead for good.

||i read it somewhere else, but besides that, he was never actually serious-punched by saitama, he just had his own attack deflected back at him, and he was still alive even after that, albeit weak and a little crispy, but he still has ridiculous regenerative power and could regenerate from very little, if Bofoi(metal knight) found his remains while salvaging the ship, who knows… ||
