I check in here now and then wondering if I should ever start PBP RP’ing here, since the other board I post on it otherwise, well; not in great shape. I almost always do Nation RP, where-in a player takes up a country or some state or another and its citizens and interests and agendas (if you need a sample of what I tend to do, at the caliber I do it at, here.)
Though I see this place is about as dead as anywhere else and at a very low bar compared to what I’m used to. I could certainly dust off some old maps and throw out some pretty open ended and general settings to sandbox with if anyone is willing to step up and I’ll just have to lower my own standards

I like to start my stories out with either themes or rough ideas, then expand outwards from there.A story centered around war.
A story about survival, and how this would be explored through the narrative.Or for ideas, just “I want a powefful villain. How can I get this effectively in RP?”Because the cord concept is what shapes everything else, and if I like that, then I will likely like the rest of the RP.
A story I’m working on is a war. My character, not my profile pic, is a member of the Royal Guard and leads them in a fight against Changelings

We always made RPs with significant plots, and character depth. I propose we simplify things by just having a one-page RP about all characters drowning at the bottom of the ocean with no means of escape.
