Glass Sight's My Baeπ
Robert Calvert - Ship Of Fools, The Lay Of The Surfers, Brave New World, Moonshine In The Mountains and Storm Chant Of The Skraelings
From the second solo album by the late South Africian-British poet/writer/songwriter/musician (and ex-member of Hawkwind), βLucky Leif and the Longshipsβ (1975)
Produced by Brian Eno (with added synthesizer and instrumental treatments by him), this is a concept album dealing with an alternate universe scenario in which the United States had been colonised by the Vikings, and its resulting affects on American culture. As such, the album explores different American musical styles. For example, the aforementioned βThe Lay Of The Surfersβ is a Beach Boys parody. The album features some of Calvertβs contemporaries in Hawkwind, including the esteemed Sci-Fi author (and Hawkwind collaborator) Michael Moorcock, who himself doubled as a musician.
Robert Calvert (Born in Pretoria, South Africa, but a resident of the UK since the 1960s) had Bipolar Disorder, which sometimes affected his creative output (and caused friction with his bandmates). In any case, he is always remembered fondly for his contributions to the British literary and music scene. He passed away from a heart attack in 1988.

Skyclad - Think Back And Lie Of England, Polkageist!, Crux Of The Message, When God Logs-Off and DΓ©jΓ -Vu Ainβt What It Used to Be
From the tenth album by the English (From Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear) Folk metal band, βFolkΓ©monβ (2000)
In reference to the title of the album (and perhaps as a nod to the year it was released in), the albumβs art features a yellow cat-like character that vaguely resembles Pikachu. However, the album itself is not PokΓ©mon-themed.
