And I always disagree with Esteban on everything and anything, so odds are it’s going to be the best episode ever!

Also, I remember genuinely laughing at a gag in Parent Map. Which doesn’t happen often in this show.

I’ve seen about fifteen odd opinions at this point. Along with non-compete (for different reasons) it’s the one episode everyone was talking about.

In fact, I actually remember the episode getting a fair amount of fan art when it first leaked (which caused the mods some concern).

Starlight’s episode? I skip them all by default.  
The one with RD and AJ taking the students out for a field trip? I watched the leak and it felt like pulling teeth.  
Big Mac and his girlfriend? I never liked how the writers just pushed a serious girlfriend on him out from nowhere, but I’ll not deny that his episode was actually fun to watch. Wasn’t perfect by any way, but still was reasonably fun and watchable and that’s a rarity one must value whenever happens.

Sunburst’s mom is a really unique character. It bothers me that you refuse to watch all episodes with Starlight Glimmer in them. I’m sure you’ve already received guff and confusion from other people when they hear you refuse to watch episodes with her in them, so I really need to forget that I ever replied directly to you, and I need to not dwell on this.

Parent Map is actually very well anticipated even in other mlp communities. Its either dreaded or hyped. Regardless, its one of the biggest lore bombs of the season. People are already buzzing about it and it hasn’t even aired yet.
 
If more of the original S1 fans are still around, people would be talking about the Spike gets wings episode more, I think.

Is “The Parent Map” being looked forward to because of Stellar Flare, or is she only part of it?

The only good thing is hear about this episode is the incest porn. I can only agree with it, becuase both Starlight and Sunburst are not interesting in this episode and prove that both of them were a mistake to introduce to this series.

I love how sweeping your statements are. I don’t find RD very interesting (sorry Sweet Blast) so I found Grannies Gone Wild a little dull, but I can at least admit that’s because of my personal preferences.

And to think, it only took two seasons, a completed character arc, and an entirely subjective metric to finally prove it once and for all.

People have different reasons looking forward to it. Stellar Flare is one of them. And then there’s sub reasons. She is best MILF. On the other hand, there are fans who are real kids that just want to know more about Starlight and Sunburst’s parents.
 
Me, I’m for the lore. I want to see the analysts reactions on how it builds upon Starlight and Sunburst’s back story. The very simple question “why didn’t they write letters to each other?” can be answered by this episode. Why didn’t Sunburst come home after flunking magic school? Answered by this episode. Were Starlight’s parents abusive? Answered by this episode. In addition, new questions arise.
