The quick filter switch appeared on my phone before the layout change. It’s not appearing now and I haven’t upgraded or changed the phone I’m currently using

I’m pretty sure your browser doesn’t support flexbox; I think that the design choice of using flexbox for the header may need to be seriously revisited.

We’ve tried hard work around it, but the browser you are using is too old for us to be able to support. If you can, update to a newer version or switch to another browser if that isn’t an option. I’m sure this will give you a better web experience not just on Derpibooru, but on other websites as well.
