Could use a shorter tag name though, like cmc cutie mark, but yeah. It would be great if someone could step up to work on that.

What’s wrong with cow pony? If it’s a cow pony, it’s a cow pony.

Since the “archer” tag implies “scootablue”, can we get a description that makes it clear that it refers to a specific character or alternatively create designated separate tags like “archer” & “archer (character)” or similar?

So the “twilight” tag is a mess of G1 Twilight, G4 Twilight, the time of day, the book series and probably more.
 
I’ve started to clean it up. I assume we want to use the tag for G1 Twilight?
 
There is pre-exisiting tags for “twilight (series)”, “twilight (astronomy), “twilight (precure)”. Replacing uses for G4 Twilight with “Twilight Sparkle”, should just leave the aforementioned G1 Twilight in the tag.
 
Or is it better to use “Twilight (G1)” and leave the astronomy term in the main tag?
 
Edit:apparently there is a “G1 Twilight” tag too…

“dialogue doesn’t seem appropriate if only one person is talking.

Maybe should imply text? But the first page looks more like “bubbleles speechbubbles”. And since speech bubble is also a tag, it kinda is not necessary.

The text tag is meant for when most or all of the image is covered in text.

So what when she smiles is actually supposed to mean? At first I thought it’s for characters who rarely (if ever) smiled (like Maud), but as of late it seems to be added wherever.

it is. (people have been using tropes as tags, apparently.) Misapplication is likely people not knowing (or caring) about the original meaning.

I see. Well, it really needs some cleaning and a description.

So, as a little question, does anyone else think that the Blaze tag could use a little cleaning up? Considering we have Blaze the cat and Blaze the Wonderbolt occupying the tag.

I found three images with Blaze the cat tagged Blaze and fixed those. Anything else, save one Streets of Rage crossover, was the Wonderbolt as far as I could tell.

Hey, I’m sick of edits where Twi’s wings are removed for no reason. So can we get a tag for that. The tag I went with was an edit where twi's wings are removed for no reason but that’s will never stay.

If a character draws something in the show, I don’t think it warrants an artist tag. The MLP staff made it, not the character. Examples: artist:pinkie pie and ||artist:discord (mlp) ||.

Would people object to a “mane 63” tag for the mane six all in rule 63 forms?

That would be redundant when you can just search “mane six, rule 63”.

Sure, but you can also search rarity, rule 63 instead of elusive, etc.

So these tags are starting to get use. Most notably is g4.5, which would mark the first time a new gen tag started common use since the beginning of ponibooru. It’s used inconsistently though, I figure it should be on either all of the playskool images or none of them. What do you guys think? Is it time to officially identify a new (half-)gen?
