Well, considering he made his tweet about not buying the book after Jim Miller said he hadn’t seen that image before and it most likely was part of the fanart section of the book…
To be fair, he probably didn’t know it was “fanart.” Still, it might just be enough for him to protest the book anyways, just for allowing anything related to the IDW comic (which he hates passionately) in the book.
Yet, he still liked the new ep’, regardless of Twilicorn (which he also loathes) making a brief appearance in it.
No he didnt,he bitched recently about the Art of Equestria book because it has fanart or bonus art with Tiberius the possum from IDW on it
You don’t have to get the channel to see promos and ads from it. There was a time I didn’t get The Hub, but I still saw its ads. And even though I get Discovery Family now, I usually see pony ads from it on the internet first.
Probably happened after I switched to basic cable and lost The Hub.
I’m also surprised you never paid attention to the promos for Too Many Pinkie Pies. I can’t find any records or clips of the ads that the Hub played in between shows, but it was in every single “New episodes this season!” ad on the channel during that time.
This one. I’m quite surprised you haven’t seen it yet.
I just hope the CMC get involved somehow in the final showdown against Starlight.
@Beau Skunky
Was that joke shown in a promo?
@Dogman15
What poster?
I can’t really see the CMC facing the “final boss” of the season, but admittedly that would be cool, and give them some development if they did. It would be a nice change of pace, then just having the Mane 6 face/defeat every villain.
In a way, it could show the CMC are finally truly “equal” with the Mane 6.
I was honestly expecting the plot of the Season Finale to be Starry Glim somehow managing to gank every cutie mark in Equestria and the CMC getting their marks when they wrecked shop on her, because they still hadn’t leveled up, but had learned more about cutie marks on their crusade than she had on hers and were thus able to reconnect everypony with what made them special. This episode was a complete and total shock to me right up until they started levitating; even when they had the electric hooves moment, I seriously thought it was just going to be a momentary thing that would be referenced later.
I remember Sibsy was quite upset when the HUB (R.I.P.) spoiled the “Bet’cha can’t make a face crazier then THIS!” gag. (Granted the scene was edited, and didn’t play out the same as it did in the show, but still.)
I actually kinda saw the CMC getting their marks coming sometime this season, or the next. (The “cutie-mark-magic” franchise theme kinda clued me in, as well as some subtle hints in the show, like the CMC episodes last season being less “cutie-mark-obsessed.”) Though, I was expecting it to happen in 3 different episodes.
I am, seriously, super impressed that the halfwits at DiscoFamily didn’t eff this up with promos or previews or teaser adverts. This is how every BIG FREAKIN’ REVEAL episode should be handled– a legitimate surprise that no one could reasonably have predicted. I really want to see what the viewership numbers are for the repeat of the episode this Saturday compared with the ratings for it new.
Satan is now ice-skating.
Joking aside, it was a very good episode so far my favorite Season 5, and overall CMC episode. It was very adorable, touching, heart-rending, and satisfying.
I should have understood that reference.
What do you mean by that?
I’m glad this person became a thing
What, you mean like, in a… John Carpenter way?
his credibility

your current filter.@TheBrianJ
Yeah, those are fair criticisms to make. (My problems with his behavior lie elsewhere, but I do think that he’s far too prone to take minor problems or matters of taste and blow them up to “Worst. Episode. Ever.” proportions, a tendency he shares with certain other critics.)
maybe murrison changed his standards for MLP
Not only that, but regardless of the few episodes he does praise, he’s claiming here he “ALWAYS appreciates great episodes”, which is clearly bullshit if he only praised like three of them and bitched about the rest.
