I’m saying even if a person does know they can still be happy, not ignorant but still happy. Not happy about stuff like Undyne trying to kill Frisk but still happy.

the monster kid in undertale. the prt where Undyne was going to slay Frisk: it was a gruesome momment yet that kid was so excited and happy to see Undyne in the flesh

I believe he’s talking about how Monster Kid goes “You’re so cool!” and then Undyne shows up, and s/he’s like “Oh, hey, and Undyne’s here, too! She’s so awesome” …Without realizing that she was trying to kill you.

Also, about what you wrote earlier: there does exist a happiness without all exterior circumstances being perfect, as you might say. You can still be happy even if people around you are being, well, what would otherwise be a bummer.

TV Tropes? That’s where I first heard about it, and then I helped Kickstart it.  
Incidentally, I know the second site I went to after that, and that certainly helped increase its popularity…especially Toriel’s…
