At the least, I would have maybe liked to see Magical Mystery Cure as a two parter. As a single episode, it worked okay, but felt quite rushed in terms of pacing.

Oh yeah, I mean, as much as the general populace of the fandom likes to talk about Twilicorn Haters like they were some big menace, I think a majority of us could see it coming from at least a season away. It really was the only logical progression for a character that is literally a pupil to a princess-demigoddess.
 
I just wish they had done more with it. Like actually play around with some of the mechanics of potentially being immortal or celestially-powerful, or heck even just an episode or two showing the more carefree sides of the princesses now that our main character is a princess, too! I mean they still could do all of that, I suppose, but at this point it might feel like it’s come too late. As of late, though, it seems like the writers either have no idea what to do with this “completed” main character, or they have lots of ideas, but no easy way of enacting them in the overall story of the show. Or a little of both. Hard to say.

Y’know now that I think about it, not all alicorn oc’s are bad. There are good ones. Like ham sandwiches, not all of them are good, but there are good ones.

I came up with it first. I came up with the idea way back in the year 20XX. I am now going to sue Fauren Laust, L.A. Marson and Habsro for theft of an idea they didn’t know I have. The lawsuit will win me quadrillions of Space Bucks. The big brain am winning again. I am the greetest. Now I am leaving Earth for no raisin.
 
All jokes aside, there’s plenty of art of Twilight as an alicorn on here that predates Magical Mystery Cure. And there’s a fanfic called A Perfectly Ordinary Day In Ponyville that was released in the middle of the second season, and has Twilight with wings. It apparently also has Pinkie clones and humans. But I haven’t read the whole thing. I think it’s pretty short.
