Though I love the show, I myself wanted to see what I could do with the Mane Sixes body shapes to make them look more unique to their personality types… had fun with this! If you care, I also figured I’d write my thought process behind each character and their respective body shape:
Applejack- Not super tall, but lean and mean. Strong shoulders and broad feet, perfect for apple bucking! Figured she could’ve inherited some of that fluffy hock look from somewhere in her family, like Big Mac. Cute round nose that’s pushed upwards on her face, giving it a little wrinkle on the bridge (like that redhead country-esque girl stereotype.)
Fluttershy- Actually pretty tall, but super slim. Even taller than Rainbow when standing up straight, which she hardly ever does. Way skinny, but not as sickly now as she looked when she was younger (probably a big teasing point for her growing up.) Her height explains why ponies where legitimately scared of her when she took Iron Will’s seminar…
Rarity- Pretty short and actually quite pudgy, probably due to emotional overeating (too much ice cream?) and she’s probably just naturally stout anyhow. This explains her insecurities about her looks, overuse of make-up and her need to hide behind huge flamboyantly poofy dresses and outfits.
Rainbow- Decently tall, strong shoulders and chest, top physical form. More agile than Applejack and tends to eat healthier too; Applejack has no problem downing apple pies or fritters since she knows she’ll work them off later. Rainbow on the other hand I can see getting way into promotional health products and “power foods” in spurts, only to fall off track every few weeks and splurge on junk foods, especially her biggest weakness– apple cider. Also has a very sharp face, just like her personality.
Twilight- Was about Applejack’s height as a unicorn, but grew taller than even Fluttershy once she went super alicorn status. This very much bugs Rainbow, but she’s semi-okay with it because of how bad of a flyer Twilight is. Pretty slim and graceful when standing still, but has an extremely high chance for clumsy derpiness once she starts moving, especially if she’s nervous for some reason (which she almost always is.) Mane is kept very exact, with every strand in its place.
Pinkie- Chubby, I mean what can you expect from somepony who’s life is simply throwing parties and working at a cake shop? The extra weight does not seem to have any bearing on her, however, since she seems to defy gravity on a daily basis. Mane and tail are always crazy but somehow still stylish, and for some reason I imagine her face having the eyes rounder and further apart than most ponies.
