It’s a common trope in general, but the very specific recreation of the poses and the fact that they replicate the following foot-skid-close-up-shots almost even down to exact tilt angles makes this very clearly a case of deliberate homage to Kill la Kill specifically.
Kill la Kill is a parody of a standard cliche action scene but the EQG scene is parodying the Kill la Kill scene specifically. Note the leg, arm and wing positions.
Actually, that does just make them both stock anime scenes, doesn’t it?
