Everything is better with the idea that Vinyl is mute. Just think, she’s got Tavi gagged so that just for a while, Tavi knows what it’s like. Meanwhile, Vinyl’s got better ideas of how to use her hands than signing. When Tavi is allowed enough movement to do anything, she can only do it and have Vinyl communicate whether or not it’s what Mistress demands with her own actions. The whole thing will be conducted without the need for words, and with Vinyl showing that having a disability does not mean not being fully capable of being in absolute control.
 
It’d be hot anyway, but think of what every detail of this means if Vinyl’s hands are her only voice.
