I dunno man. Looks to me like they can all be literally described as “Just one notch above Blueblood.” :P
Hey! Both the Crystal Empire and Equestria seem to be very nice places to live, and that takes a lot of offscreen paperwork to accomplish!
So don’t be putting the princess is down! ;)
I hope not. She has no leadership qualities at all, and besides, we have enough useless monarchs running around already.
If Gilda becomes a warrior princess, then I want Greta to become her sidekick!
Hmm, I’m okay with this, although I can understand why they don’t want the show to include any Xena references.

Also yes, I am okay with Grelda!
Pretty sure that was simply meant to be poetic. But it does seem like Gilda is being set up as the next monarch of Griffonstone.
“Warrior Princess”? Please.
Explain.
If that happens, I may seriously stop watching the show.
(attention, attention, now shipping: GRARITY)
I vote to call it Grelda.
Exactly. It was all about making her sound cute and marketable, and they only went with that flimsy logic to justify themselves and to throw their weight around.
And yet Hasbro somehow thought naming her “Queen” would have made her evil.
Then again, the title of Princess sounds nicer than “Queen Celestia”.
Only two evil queens out of several movies is hardly an obsession.
That looks to change~
Apparently Disney has an obsession with making queens evil. I mean, wasn’t that the reason Celestia is called “Princess” instead of “Queen”, because of Disney’s obsession with Queen evils?
Disney only had two evil queens (Snow White and Alice in Wonderland) and their kings are good much more often than they are evil.
Grelda? perhaps?
Although even Disney (who started it pretty much) is starting to reverse that with Queen Elsa and all.
It’s not only Hasbro. It seems to be a long existing cliche, heavily cemented by Disney movies, where the Queen/King is almost always the antagonist.
