I like how watermarks are usually on the images that are mostly unremarkable or of barely above-par quality. There’s no reason to steal something like this.

Yet another example of an image where the watermark manages to be both very distracting and almost utterly ineffective.

Every part of the watermark except the username can be removed automatically. The username happens to be positioned over an almost uniform section of the image, making it trivial to remove manually.

If anyone actually cared enough to steal an image like this it would take very little effort, yet people continue to cover their images in ugly watermarks because it gives them a false sense of security.
