@RIG
they do throw quite a bit of effort into that.
as i have said, i am hoping this is all forshadowing or something. cause the umbrum, amoore trapped and scattered across the world, there is just a lot of potential for a story.
@Background Pony #22CE
Slight problem. According to issue 19 of the main series, Star Swirl and Celestia met Good Sombra before they knew about Regular Sombra. Which means by the time he was scattering Amore’s pieces to the four winds, there was an active portal to an alternate universe. Which means there is a non-zero chance that parts of her are now in an alternate universe–presumably stranded there forever.
@RIG
Well obviously because it would give the artists opportunities to explore ideas and write stories that wouldn’t really work in the show without the hassle of trying to tie everything together.
Plus this is basically a paid promotional fanfiction, who wouldn’t want that sort of job?
“So we just found out that Princess Amore is alive, but has been broken into pieces and scattered around the world for a thousand years. Oh, and there might still be an army of shadow ponies beneath the empire. Should we do something?”
“Nah.”
@KirbyfanNeox
the comics are canon, but they are made in a way that they can be ignore, if they were truly non-canon, why hasbro would take time to check that nothing that happens on it enters in conflict with the show?
You know, I wish the people who make the show handled this. I trust their judgement more than the people who write the comic, even if just by a little bit.
