I’ll take responsibility for the ‘Mane 6 + 1’ tag because of HuMane 7 (Shimmer’s the 7th to me since Rainbow Rocks).
Now I found another tag called “main eight”. It has pictures of the Mane Six+Spike+Sunset, but it also has some images of the Mane Six+Spike+Discord. So I’m not sure what the original purpose of the tag was.

Hope springs eternal.
Though another possibility is a final episode where some of the Mane Six, including Twilight, are leaving Ponyville, and when Twilight gets to Canterlot, Princess Celestia smiles. “I said you were needed here. I never said it was me who needed you. I believe you’ve met Sunset Shimmer.” And segue into everypony with new friends. Rarity doing lunch with Fancy Pants and Coco Pommel, Rainbow Dash as a Wonderbolt, Pinkie Pie on the road with Cheese Sandwich, etc.
Meh, it happens.

Because I didn’t know if that was correct usage, or not.
That, and I had no idea the ‘mane six plus one’ tag existed.
That’s why you had to remove the spike tag, SlayerBVC; that’s who the mane seven tag covers.
