Most consumer electronics use Lithium Cobalt Oxide batteries, which are actually significantly more dangerous than Lithium Iron Phosphate or Lithium Manganese Oxide batteries due to being stuffed full of a highly flammable electrolyte under pressure. However, they also have better electrical properties.
