Fair point. But Caramel was also the subject of a line in “Winter Wrap-Up” that then featured a bunch of fics about Caramel losing something. Comparatively, that was around for a while before anyone wrote anything in it that contained a mostly sweet, if somewhat clumsy, Caramel.
 
I still don’t think he’s gonna be the next Braeburn, though. He’s good looking, but there was something extra about Braeburn that led him to memetic status of gay, something which I really can’t figure out.

How about Snow Business for a name or Snow Job like that one G.I. Joe.

The fandom works in mysterious ways. Caramel didn’t even had any lines in his first appearance and yet he became a really popular BG pony while other characters like the shop keeper from Magic Duel are almost forgotten.
