Well, he’s commonly left out of things for no real reason when he’s just as much a main character as the rest are, but I tend to see Derpy, or any of the non-Twi princesses elevated to a higher relevance than him in fanwork, or he’s just orall ignored.
 
Why? Hell if I know.
 
He’s also fairly green, filling up that rainbow.
 
It’s totally justified for someone to be bothered by him NOT being included.

I’ve had on my mind, for a while, that the mane six are represented by a rainbow even though it has seven colors. And, BIG FUCKING SURPRISE, instead of fitting in Spike–who’s already considered part of the mane six by some–his slot goes to Sunset Shimmer.
 
btw, this is a misuse of the “mane seven” tag.
