I think they’re magical projections of their real forms actually. They’re translucent during the battle, lind of like avatars being controlled by a source.

So, their real bodies were just trapped in the crystals? For some reason I didn’t see it that way until now…

This is literally the same as your argument, making big connections with little to no actually validity to them. But I wouldn’t expect much considering you’re basically that one guy that spams everything EQG with hate.

I don’t care if this is considered a “copypasta” of the first movie’s final fight, both movies still have a lot energy and enthusiasm to make these scenes exciting.

Oh but one year is nothing.No talk about 10,20,30 years with all the dubstep and rock n roll gimmick will make the movie look aged like hell and people will wonder where did the fuck those character that are not essential to the plot came from and where all the social media fad/hype/buzzwords will have faded out by then.It’s a gimmick movie and gimmick movie just like Cool As Ice which share the same level of quality as this age horribly

Except the villains were just typical popular girls, it actually showed that they brainwashed their way into it. And if the villain turning into a monster and brainwashing people makes it a copy, then like sixty percent of cartoons ever made were just copies of each other. “Vague continuity appeal,” except it wasn’t vague. At all. It was a direct sequel with everything lining up the way it should. “Defeated by the six toys,” again, you must hate most cartoons as the FiM show itself if using the super powerful item to beat the villain annoys you. And as for the fad being forgotten… yeah, you’ll probably be saying that after art and stories of the EqG universe continues for another year and a third movie comes out.

The only thing that changed is the adding of the pop rock gimmick because the Hasbro suits used their copy of “How to Reach the Audience 1980 edition”  
In 1 month,it’s in the retail DVD bin with Monster High DVD.A fitting end,they wanted to be Mattel so much that they are going to follow the same road.As a fad quickly forgotten

Hmmmph,a copypasta of the first movie with just trendy rock added…nah still lazy as hell in my book.And just like the first,it wil follow the same fate as the first in my country.Broadcasted at a timeslot when all potential audience is at school (weekdays around 2 pm)sharing said timeslot with unforgetabble classic such as Kung Fu Magoo and in the DVD bargain bin in a month.
