I remember seeing some sketches by the makers showing a sequel, and that she could swim normally without the leg-things. I think that sequel was then remade into Sacrifice Girl…

Marie’s backstory is confusing but surprisingly depressing. The doctor, who was also her father stated that he made Marie’s capsule capable of lasting up t 30 centuries, 3000 years. So Marie is ancient. A war happened and civilization was presumably destroyed. Everyone who woke up before her perished. Though, there’s evidence there are still more people in pristine capsule who have yet to awaken. Marie was likely the first to get out alive.
 
I wonder if she had to live the rest of her life with those heavy contraptions on her legs. The doctor did say those things were next to indestructible. Apparently, people still speak the same language Marie spoke in the same location.

Oh yes, that’s true, I’ve played it and beaten it and it was challenging.

I see no harm in that. While the guy most does “mobian” characters UW, maybe shifting to pony for a while would make a nice change of pace for him.

Trust me, I did a double take when I first saw this.

Oh this game… I never finished it. I would put the game reference if the game itself wasn’t questionable/explicit. Its mentioned in the source anyhow for anyone interested.
