That actually sounds like something from an ALien movie…
And staying true to Fallout levels of gore, they start out by growing and forming under her skin. They sorta move under her skin sometimes almost like a kicking baby in a pregnant mare’s womb.
One day Calamity plays a practical joke on Pip, which startles her, and the wings literally rip out of her sides, spattering blood everywhere. And LittlePip screams for a minute before passing out from the pain.
After her skin grows back to cover the exposed muscle tissue, though, it’s pretty great! :D
…After Littlepip wakes up in the mothership experimentation room, she notices a strange weight in her back, a set of wings sprouted from her shoulder blades…
