No problem. It’s good you actually know those details. I could see Dash not knowing it and having either Twilight or Rarity lecture her on it.

bloomers in the Victorian context weren’t actually underwear at all; what we think of today when we hear bloomers were properly drawers or pantalettes (never pantaloons, those were exclusively men’s clothes, and looked like this besides). bloomers were outerwear trousers, typically worn under a short skirt or long-peplumed jacket, and were very popular in the late 1800s for women’s athletics and cycling. here’s an example of a 1890s cycling outfit with bloomers – Twi would be less embarrassed if that were what she was wearing!

tl;dr I care too much about Victorian underthings, I’m so sorry. (people keep calling what I draw Pinkie and Rarity wearing “corsets” and I don’t know how much longer I can take it before I hulk out about that.)

Steamquestria is a floating continent (because you can’t have too many floating islands) that encompasses all the canon cities/towns/etc. Canterlot is still on a mountain, that mountain is just part of a bigass flying island. :B

atm I think Cloudsdale is a dirigible city of some kind, but I don’t have any real plans for it so that might change.

Flying City? So apparently the designers of Steamquestria’s Canterlot took one look at the designs for a city hanging off a mountain and decided it was too boring and decided to screw any sort of solid ground and just made it airborn!

…Either that or they were visiting their version of Cloudsdale.
