Good point. No matter what her intentions, it always leads to somepony else saving the day.
 
For example:  
  1. A Canterlot Wedding - Cadence and Shining Armor with the Magic of Love  
  2. Twilight’s Kingdom - Twilight surrenders the combined Alicorn magic, but then saves the day with Rainbow Power and the Magic of Friendship.

I loved this panel. Seeing these two nigh-immortals interact like this is great.
 
Incidentally, Celestia hasn’t ever claimed to be perfect. Only Twilight has called her such. The fact that she’s lost every single fight we’ve seen her take on in the present day, and that her well-laid plans tend to fail when it gets to crunch time, is proof enough of that.

Hey, Celestia and Luna are sisters. And they were doing it alone with no one watching them. Who can blame them for a little rump bump to reaffirm their sisterly bond and friendship?

Something that I do like about this arc is that we get some sort of interaction between these 2.We never really ever see the 2 together unless its just for small roles.Its something at least.And I kind of appreciate it.I just hope these 2 have some more scenes later onscreen.
