You know, I’m interested in this different take on Eris. I think it works… mostly.  
If the muzzle were just a wee bit shorter or more feminine looking, it’d be perfect.  
Not saying it has to look like the usual cutesy Eris, but that as is it looks just close enough to Discord that it looks off. Not sure exactly how to fix that, but this is just my two bits, awesome picture all the same.

By far the best Lady Tirek.

I’ll admit, this does seem like a more fitting Eris than we normally get (And the more zebra-like mane adds another species into her hodgepodge)

I’m not sold on the giant forelock on Eris, but that little bit of white mixed in with the black of her mane is a nice touch.

In the past I have been a regular commenter on feminist blogs, and a lot of hits on my name come up with said comments. I am, in fact, a feminist, though about as far away from the asshats who go crusading to shut down things like Princess Molestia as the Quakers are from Wahhabi Muslims – they both believe in one god, aaaaand that’s about it.
 
Dude below seemed to be absolutely boggled at the thought that there might be a feminist posting on derpibooru. The only thing you need to believe to call yourself a feminist is that women should not be subordinate to men or demeaned in comparison to men, and that it’s ok to call yourself a feminist. :-) (The vast majority of the population actually fits the first criterion but then falls down on the second, which is why many publicly known “feminists” act like dorks.)

To be fair, there are guys who nitpick female orientated shows with ‘underwheming’ or ‘demeaning’ or ignored male roles (Spike comes to mind).
 
Me, I don’t really give a darn on which gender a character is, just so long as they have character. Heck, the quality of a show or film shouldn’t be affected if rule 63 was applied, because the everyone affected would remain unchanged otherwise.
 
As for the picture, I like it. Despite differences, they are still Tirek and Discord without making them overly cutesy. The scene would probably play exactly the same too, just with different voices. I wouldn’t be surprised if lady Tirek is still buffed up when she’s absorbed enough magic.

Depends on what anime you watch. Yeah there’s some magical girl anime and a few old-school shonen anime like Iczer-1 that fall in that category… but pretty much every live action show ever, most American comics, almost every American cartoon that doesn’t suck, all the movies, a lot of books, and most games fall in the “most of the heroes are male” category.

I like this version of Eris more than most others. Most of the ones I’ve seen miss the entire point of Discord’s appearance; they give Eris a cute little pony face, but the thing is, stallions have cute little pony faces too and Discord doesn’t have one, so why would a draconequus mare have a cute little pony face either?
 
I disagree with the poster who thought she looked like Discord crossdressing. Her build is more overtly feminine - Discord is always skinny but normal Discord is masculine-skinny where the shoulders are slightly wider than the rest of the torso; Eris here doesn’t have literal breasts, but her upper torso is wider than her waist, giving her the appearance of breasts and hips, and the smaller, shaped eyebrows, slightly softer chin and lack of a goatee make her look either female or like a very young, teenage-ish Discord, even if you subtract the eyelashes and hair.
 
Tirek totally comes across as a witch. That’s not a bad thing. An old crone with vast magical knowledge, tricking a more powerful being so that she can have power – that basically is a witch.
 
I don’t like full-on 63 universes because making the Princesses and the Mane 6 all male makes the MLP universe exactly like every other goddamn heroic fantasy in the universe, and boring as shit as a result, but I’d love to see a mixed-63 universe where some of the Mane 6 and one of the Princesses are male, and some of the male villains are female and some of the female villains are male, because I do love me some well-done Eris, and I think Eris and 63-Fluttershy could be really interesting and original.

Okay, on the one hand… even drained and ragged, somehow Lady Tirek still manages to have a feminine shapeliness, and dare I say even attractiveness, to her features. On the other hand, Eris looks like Discord is crossdressing. Which is disturbingly possible.
