And yet she’s the exact same height as the other students and even got into Photo Finish’s yearbook. I think she’s more like a teacher’s helper or something.
But yeah, Big Mac makes things even more complicated. Not a good sign when the pony universe has a more consistent age group.
There is this, but I can’t recall if he’s been a student in the actual movies. (Considering the comics are practically a different canon.)
Y’know, I almost wish they would adapt Harshwhinney into the EqG canon.
Well, there’s this, and there’s her scolding the CMC about how they were using the library computers. She’s definitely a teacher, but if we want her to be with Mac but not a Mary Kay Letourneau case, it’s a good thing we can’t tell for sure that Mac is a student.
Personally, I’m still pretty sure that Cheerilee is just a student.
Mac might have been helping out rather than being a student. It’ll take more rewatching of his movie 1 scenes.
Mac’s love life is always questionable, huh? Pony Mac with his maybe-cousin, human Mac with his maybe-teacher!

Well I agree that some of them do seem younger in the human world, but that’s setting it for different age groups. Big Mac and Cheerilee are considered within the adult age group in both worlds, so if anything, they both perhaps have been changed in years by the same amount.
Only if someone gets penalized.

I meant the CMC seem YOUNGER in the pony world. The ones in EG seem to be young-teens, or freshman.
All the characters seem older in the pony world though. (With the excpection of the CMC, Diamond, Spoon, ect. who seem a bit older.) So pony Big Mac & Cheerilee are likely both legal age there.
They might not be the same age in the EG/human world though, so they’ll likely not get ’shipped there.
I doubt they would have shipped him in the hearts and hooves episode if he were actually younger. But whatever, there are always exceptions and no real proof to it. That is why it’s “in my opinion”.
Taller, doesn’t automatically mean older. I have many younger relatives, and friends who are like a foot taller then me.
Cheerilee probably just looks young. I’m a grown-up, but I get mistaken for a teenager IRL.
Big Mac seems older than Cheerilee imo
